Question: I heard meditation is quite difficult in the start, is this true? How can we overcome the problems during meditation?
Answer: It depends on how you regard meditation. Generally, awareness is meditation and that is actually part of our lives. Without that, we can't function well so partial meditation is already a part of our lives. We need to improve to more advance levels of meditation so that awareness and mindfulness will constantly be with us and thus we don't make mistakes anymore.
So it might be rather difficult in the beginning due to the non-establishment of the ground or basis. Eventually, it will be well integrated into our daily activities and so not difficult to maintain. In order to improve further, one still needs to work hard always until the attainment of enlightenment.
